Corinne Micallef is a theatre director working extensively with communities and young people. She has been a workshop leader and director with many companies, including the past 10 years with the National Theatre's Education Department. Other companies include Lewisham Youth Theatre, Albany Interactive, Blue Elephant, Theatre Peckham and Chickenshed. She is a facilitator with Project Phakama, an international youth arts company and has led theatre exchange projects in Berlin, South Africa and Indonesia based on a process of creative equality.
Corinne is a guest lecturer at London Metropolitan University in Community Performance Practices and teachers regularly in London primary schools.
Corinne has been curious for as long as she can remember. It is this curiosity, wonder and sense of play that motivates and inspires her to create stories with children.
