Paul Lyalls

Paul Lyalls Paul Lyalls is one of the stars of the BBC/CBBC Big Slam Poetry House. In 2008 he was poet in resident for the London Borough of Brent and got to be the first poet to perform at the new Wembley Stadium. He is one of the featured poets on the first ever Oxfam children's CD and his poems have appeared on the national news, Channel 4's BITE, and he's even performed on a Red London bus as it went down Oxford Street.

Paul fuses poetry, storytelling and simple drama to help children celebrate their lives and experiences.  He also uses these cornerstones to help them tackle issues, dilemmas and to make sense of the world they engage in.

Paul has been working with MakeBelieve Arts since it began, and has found their theatre/performance ideas invigorating and inspiring. He also really likes them - despite the fact they are theatre types!
