Tabitha Neal trained in textiles and printmaking and worked as a puppet maker and florist before becoming a secondary school art teacher for several years.
With the knowledge and experience from these different spectrums, she naturally turned to freelance arts education and has worked widely on solo projects as well as in collaboration with artists with other skills.
As a core member of the initiating team of Project Phakama UK and associate artist of MakeBelieve Arts, collaborative and participant centred arts is at the heart of her practice.
