The Lee Green Community Centre: LAUNCH EVENT!

Lee Green Community Centre is officially open for business on the 28th of July 2010!
Lee Green Lives, MakeBelieve Arts, Lewisham Youth Service and the Lee Green Local Assembly are pleased to announce the upcoming launch event for the Lee Green Community Centre.
Made possible by support from the Mayor's Fund, Lee Green Local Assembly, the Meanwhile Project and St Modwen Properties, the Lee Green Community Centre has been transformed from an empty shop front in the Leegate Shopping Centre to a vibrant community space.
If you live in and around Lee Green, join our partners and the Mayor of Lewisham for the launch of the Lee Green Community Centre. Get a taste of things to come with activities and fun for the whole community!

The Mayor of Lewisham, Sir Steve Bullock, will declare the Centre officially open at 5pm
The afternoon and evening will be packed with activities for the whole family. From knitting groups to young people's drama and art; from planting and potting to parents and toddler music groups; and from jewellery making to music production, there's something for everyone at the Lee Green Community Centre.
