MakeBelieve Arts tours to TES this Friday.
This years TES Resources Conference takes place in the Business Design Centre, London on 9th and 10th December 2011. A onestop-shop of educational resources, CPD training sessions and all the expert advice and classroom aids anyone could ever need. TES is a mecca and a must for anyone involved in early years, primary and secondary education.
So naturally MakeBelieve Arts is giving 2 of the 48 focused seminar sessions. There are 6 seminar zones and we will be based in 'Creativity'!
Our first workshop is Creative Approaches to Learning set to engage participants with simple and effective methods to bring the curriculum to life. Our approach takes into account the different learning styles and intelligences in learners and educators alike.
Our second workshop will give an insight into our ever popular and successful Helicopter Technique of storytelling and story acting that grew out of Vivian Gussin Paley’s book The Boy Who Would be a Helicopter (published 1990 Harvard University Press).
