A week full of holiday fun at the Lee Green Community Centre
Lee Green Community Centre was buzzing last week with the sounds of more than 20 children exploring the imaginative world of The Lorax by Dr Seuss.
The community centre came alive with children aged 7-12 as they got stuck in to exploring the characters, themes, twists and turns of the classic much-loved text.
Working with Ross, Liz and Callum, the children from in and around Lee Green and South London spent the week together making new friends and developing their creative skills. The daily workshops culminated in a sharing session with friends and family, showcasing all their hard work, dedication and creativity!
The enthusiasm displayed throughout the week was fantastic and a credit to all involved. It was brilliant to see the Lee Green Community Centre come alive with activity. The holiday workshop was the first of many projects we hope to deliver in the space and we're looking forward to getting the rest of our programmes underway!
